Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic leader who loves current events and lifestyle content to join our team at The Social.  If you’re experienced in both television and digital content and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this may be the right role for you! 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support The Social’s digital team 
• Assist in planning, developing and programming The Social’s daily broadcast
• Managing and supporting The Social’s field production team
• Work closely with producers, digital team, to execute ideas and provide feedback
• Chase and book talent as needed
• Monitor and stay informed on news/current events, lifestyle, entertainment, & pop culture

Critical Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a television producer
• Post secondary degree in television production or journalism
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines of several simultaneous duties, while maintaining focus and composure in a fast paced environment
• Strong writing skills 
• Strong knowledge and passion of news/current events, lifestyle, pop culture, social issues, entertainment and music
• Management experience would be an asset
• Ability to work well in a team and motivate staff

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
