Public Relations Account Manager

As a PR Account Manager at Swerve, you’ll lead day-to-day client relationships while driving smart, results-oriented PR programs.Client & Program Leadership
Own day-to-day client communications and account managementLead execution of PR programs while ensuring KPIs are met (and exceeded)Develop, track, and optimize program KPIs-flagging opportunities and course-correcting when neededManage client budgets, ensuring work stays within scope and forecasting proactivelyStrategy & Planning
Develop thoughtful, tailored PR plans aligned to client goals and target audiencesLead and contribute to strategic brainstorms and planning sessionsStay ahead of industry trends to educate clients and internal teamsTeam Leadership
Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality support across accountsReview and oversee reporting (weekly coverage, monthly reports, wrap reports)Contribute to performance feedback, hiring, and team developmentMedia, Influencers & Execution
Draft and edit media materials (press releases, briefing books, fact sheets, etc.)Build and maintain existing strong media relationshipsLead and manage influencer programs, including FTC compliance, budgets, contracts, and deliverablesVet and manage third-party vendors (freelancers, creatives, production partners, etc.)Agency Growth & Culture
Participate in new business pitches and presentationsSupport awards submissions, case studies, and agency marketing materialsRepresent Swerve and clients at events and trade showsContribute to agency social media as neededWhat We’re Looking For
4-6+ years of PR experience, with agency experience requiredCurrently a Senior PR Specialist or similar, ready to take on more strategic and client-facing responsibilityProven experience managing media relations and integrated PR programsStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsExperience managing budgets, timelines, and junior team membersDeep understanding of influencer marketing and FTC regulationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial agency environmentOur Values (a.K.A.
