Estimator for Civil Projects at Maple Reinders

Turner Construction Company

Join Maple Reinders as an Estimator focused on civil projects across Canada, particularly in Water/Wastewater. Leverage your construction experience and risk evaluation skills while preparing cost estimates. This role requires an experienced professional with over 7 years in estimating Water/Wastewater projects or a combined Project Manager and Estimator role. You’ll work on various projects, preparing tenders and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. Your understanding of construction risks and site conditions will help ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates
Review project drawings and specifications
Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
Manage tender submissions with senior managers
Identify construction risks and site conditions

Requirements:

7+ years estimating Water/Wastewater projects
Experience with Bluebeam, Planswift, and Costx
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering
Mechanical experience is an asset
