*Job Description:*

We are seeking someone with over 15 years of experience to manage a wide variety of projects from the initial design phase through to the on-site contract administration. Candidates shall be able to prepare architectural working drawings & construction details, and specifications, in a collaborative and team environment with a focus on quality control. The candidate should be self-motivated, sincere, conscientious and detail oriented with strong communication skills in a professional manner. Candidates, in addition to participating in business development activities, should have sound management skills and enjoy working on technical aspects of architectural projects in a fast paced and supportive environment. Must be highly experienced with Revit and AutoCAD software (latest edition), Sketchup and proficient with MS Office productivity software. An intermediate to senior level of familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and knowledge of building science and construction detailing will be an asset, along with a strong motivation for continual learning.

This position will lead to a principal management role with the capacity to lead and manage multiple projects in addition to eligibility for future partnership opportunity.

*Job Qualifications:*

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
* 15+ years architectural experience.
* Knowledge and experience producing 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD in a BIM environment.
* Require knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated expertise in design and /or technical realms.
* Knowledge of quality control methods and management.
* Knowledge and application of standards and applicable building codes.
* Experience leading and coordinating teams and contributing to all phases of the project.
* General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
* Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative, critical and pragmatic thought.
* Strong focus on quality and the ability to check your own work and work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
* Field experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications and writing reports.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to function with minimum supervision.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Team player.
* Commitment and dedication to client service and technical excellence.
