InnPower Finance Director Role
The MEARIE Group
Join InnPower as the Finance Director, responsible for strategic financial oversight and operational performance. Command the financial reporting and controllership functions for a key Ontario utility.
In this senior leadership role, you will report directly to the CFO and guide all financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across InnPower and its subsidiaries. You’ll drive financial modernization initiatives, lead audits, and enhance financial planning capabilities to foster growth and efficiency. A collaborative approach will be essential as you develop financial strategies and manage a team to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct accounting and financial reporting operations
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Manage external audit processes and reporting
• Lead budgeting and corporate financial planning
• Enhance billing systems and customer experience
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• CPA designation is essential
• Over a decade of finance experience required
• Leadership in utility or multi-entity structure
• Expertise in financial reporting and IFRS
