Marketing Director Bread Portfolio Strategy
Canada Bread - Bimbo
Lead portfolio strategy, brand building, and growth for Bimbo Canada’s Bread, Breakfast and Flatbread businesses across Canada.
As Marketing Director, you will set strategic direction for Dempster’s®, POM®, Stonemill®, Bon Matin®, and Natural Bakery®. You will translate consumer, category, cultural, and business understanding into clear choices, innovation opportunities, and commercial priorities. The role partners with Sales, Insights, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, and the Innovation Centre of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define short-, medium-, and long-term portfolio growth agendas
- Translate consumer and category dynamics into strategic direction
- Lead insights, concepts, positioning, and launch strategies
- Develop distinctive brands, briefs, communications, and activation
- Partner with Sales on customer growth stories
Requirements:
- Progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in CPG
- Portfolio and brand strategy experience translating choices into growth
- Strong consumer orientation, analytical capability, and commercial judgment
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline
