Part-time and overnight care - 16 & 11yr olds.

I am looking for a reliable, responsible and warm person to provide occasional evening/overnight childcare for our two kids, ages 16 and 11, as well as care during an upcoming three-week vacation. Our previous nanny was with our family for 10 years, and we’re hoping to find someone who would enjoy building a similar long-term relationship with us. With the kids being older now, the role has evolved and is less traditional childcare and more about having a dependable adult in the home. Both kids attend school full-time, so during the week the position is primarily evenings and overnight. During the three-week period, care would generally include:

• Being at our home in the evenings and overnight
• Preparing simple dinners and breakfasts
• Helping keep the household running with light housekeeping/tidying
• Occasional transportation for school or activities as needed
• Caring for our friendly dog and cat while staying at the house

This isn’t a traditional full-time nanny position, my kids are older and quite independent. We’re mainly looking for someone dependable who can be the responsible adult at home, help with meals and the household, and provide some consistency while we’re away. We can also provide a vehicle during the three-week period if required. Outside of the vacation period, we would love to find someone interested in continuing with us for occasional evenings and overnights.
