General idea for this position is the oversight and execution of the daily kitchen operations. The ideal person would demonstrate a good work attitude by personally performing tasks and leading with excellence . You should also want to work to constantly improve guest satisfaction while keeping up with daily restaurant and kitchen needs.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Food preparation as instructed by the Chef
- Understanding that no job is above or below anyone. Everyone has a distinct roll in what makes us great!
- Look after the execution of set menus, banquet events and large party events
- Maintaining daily tasks and goal as set out by Chef
- Following and executing recipes and menu items above and beyond expectations every time.
- Keep the team working towards a common goal.
- Always expanding on our execution of food service quality and ease of service
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Requirements:
- Hands-on working experience preferred, but we welcome all who wish to learn!
- Excellent attendance and attention to detail
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of working nights, as well as early mornings.
- Communication and respect above all else

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Severn, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
