Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen and Bath Designer role based in North York, ON. The Kitchen and Bath Designer will meet with customers in the showroom to understand their needs, style preferences, and budget, and will develop functional, aesthetically pleasing design solutions. Day-to-day tasks include creating design layouts, selecting products and finishes, preparing quotes, and presenting design proposals. The role involves guiding customers through product options such as vanities, cabinetry, tubs, shower doors, tiles, and flooring, while ensuring measurements, specifications, and orders are accurate. The designer will also collaborate with sales and operations teams, provide after-sales support, and help maintain attractive, organized showroom displays.
Compensation
$45,000 to $50,000 plus commission
Qualifications
- Strong Kitchen & Bath Design skills, with experience translating client needs into practical, attractive layouts
- Demonstrated Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport, listen actively, and provide clear design guidance
- Proven Sales ability, including product recommendation, upselling where appropriate, and closing sales in a consultative manner
- Knowledge of Cabinetry, including configuration, finishes, hardware, and installation considerations.
- Experience with design or drafting software
- Familiarity with bathroom fixtures, tiles, flooring, and current design trends
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy with measurements, and organizational skills
