Senior UX Researcher - Temporary assignment

About the role

Our growing team seeks a Senior UX Researcher to lead user‑centered research across product, design, and data teams. Salary range: CAD94,200–115,200 per year for a 35‑hour workweek.

What you'll do here

• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to identify information gaps, create and manage the research roadmap, and ensure design and development processes are user‑centered.


• Lead user research: plan, design, and conduct studies to gather deep insights into users’ needs, behaviors, and motivations.


• Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, delivering strong strategic recommendations that account for technological constraints.


• Produce clear and concise reports and presentations to influence decision‑making and guide design strategies.


• Stay current with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in user research and UX.


• Mentor junior researchers, sharing knowledge and accelerating skill development.


• Advocate for the importance of user research and UX across the organization, operationalizing the full range of methods offered by the team.

What you bring to the table

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in user research.


• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, semi‑structured interviews, comparative studies, card sorting, longitudinal studies, surveys, focus groups, and facilitation of co‑creation workshops.


• Proficiency with research tools such as UserTesting.com, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Dovetail, and others.


• Statistical methods proficiency.


• Business performance orientation: tracking KPIs, analyzing market trends, and applying strategic thinking in user experience and business context.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings at an executive level.


• Strong collaboration skills, openness to feedback, proactive attitude, and ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments.


• Bilingualism in French and English is required to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.


• Eligibility to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment; no Canadian work experience required.
