Why Tank Cleaners Take This Job
The work starts now, not next quarter. Your hotel is covered and you get $50.00 a day for food, so the wage stays in your pocket instead of going to a room and meals. Overtime starts after 8 hours in a day, and on 12 hour shifts that adds up fast. Tank cleaning is hard, and the crews who show up and do it properly are the ones who get called first for the next shutdown.Pay is a gross hourly rate before deductions.
