The hotel

Located directly across from the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal offers 210 suites with kitchenettes. Guests enjoy a complimentary American breakfast and evening reception, and our meeting room seats up to 60. Our location and spacious suites make us a top choice for convention housing, extended stays and groups.

Position overview

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales & Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a dual role: growing the hotel’s online presence and supporting the sales team. This person manages our digital channels, makes sure the hotel takes full advantage of every Hilton sales and marketing platform, and keeps group files accurate and up to date.

We are looking for a creative, organized and proactive person who is comfortable with digital tools and enjoys both creating content and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Digital marketing

•         Plan, create and publish the hotel’s social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) following a content calendar.

•         Keep the hotel’s content up to date on Hilton.com , Google Business Profile and online travel agencies, in French and English.

•         Prepare and send email campaigns and promotions for corporate clients, groups and extended-stay guests.

•         Produce photos and short videos showcasing the suites, breakfast, evening reception and our location across from the Palais des congrès.

•         Monitor online reviews and prepare responses with the management team.

•         Produce a monthly performance report covering engagement, website traffic, direct bookings and campaign results.

•         Ensure all communications follow Hilton brand standards.

Hilton platforms and sales support

•         Use Hilton’s sales and marketing systems daily, including Delphi, Salesforce, PEP and the brand’s content tools in the Lobby: Sprinklr, MarKIT, Content Gateway, PiM and Email Campaign.

•         Keep the hotel’s rates, availability and content current on GroupSync, Hilton’s online group-booking tool, and on RFP platforms.

•         Take part in Hilton Honors promotions and brand campaigns relevant to the hotel.

•         Respond to client inquiries, qualify leads and check availability.

•         Coordinate group, room-block and small-meeting files from contract preparation through to departure.

•         Share group information with reservations, front desk and other departments.

•         Maintain the client database to support prospecting and targeted campaigns.

•         Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and Marketing and the sales team.

•         Perform other related duties within the department.

Skills and qualifications

•         1 to 2 years of experience in hotel sales support or digital marketing.

•         Proven experience managing social media and creating content (portfolio an asset).

•         Proficiency with tools such as Canva or Adobe, Sprinklr/Meta Business Suite, and an email marketing platform.

•         Photo and video skills for social media.

•         Excellent writing skills in French and English.

•         Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

•         Self-motivation, initiative and a team-oriented attitude.

•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

•         Knowledge of Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ tools or other Hilton platforms is a strong asset.

Requirements

•         Excellent command of French and English, spoken and written.

•         College diploma (DEC) in marketing, communications or hotel management is an asset. Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.

•         A valid driver’s license is an asset.
