Release Train Strategist
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Strategist to support Agile delivery and release coordination within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role will facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, release execution, risk and dependency management, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and optimize release planning and execution across Agile teams.
- Facilitate PI Planning, System Demos, release synchronization meetings, and related Agile ceremonies.
- Manage risks, dependencies, impediments, and stakeholder communications.
- Track delivery metrics, reporting, and release performance dashboards.
- Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architecture, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery outcomes.
- Coach teams and leaders on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Release Train Strategist, or similar Agile leadership role.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or a regulated enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe Agile methodologies and release management practices.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- Post-secondary education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe RTE and/or Scrum Master certification.
- PMP certification.
- Experience supporting Asset Management, Wealth Management, or investment-related business areas.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
- Toronto, ON.
- Initial 12-month contract with potential extension.
