CFD Analyst
Predict by Price ( is a team of specialized consulting engineers within the Price family that provides value added consulting services to our external and internal customers using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis. As an integral team member, the primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be using commercial CFD software to simulate indoor environments for our external clients as well as simulating specific Price products for internal clients. In both cases, there will be a strong emphasis on interpreting simulation results to provide practical recommendations for optimizing the customer's designs.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Working with external customers to perform CFD simulations of indoor environments and reporting results and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Supporting Product Development by simulating Price products and assisting design engineering with improving performance.
- Working with Application Engineers and Laboratory Technicians to validate CFD models and assisting with research projects as needed.
- Assisting Application Engineers with consultation and design support as needed.
- Continuing to develop in-house CFD expertise by collaborating with other members of the Predict team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Successfully completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and analytical skills.
- A team player attitude and demonstrate a hard work ethic.
