Nanny Wanted - Experienced Nanny & Family Assistant Needed In Milton, Ontario

Our family is looking for a warm, dependable, and engaging part-time nanny/family assistant to care for our son as he approaches his first birthday. We're hoping to find someone who enjoys spending time with young children and is interested in becoming a trusted, long-term part of our family's routine. Position Highlights:

• Seeking at least 2-3 consistent days per week, 5 hour shifts
• additional 1-2 evening shifts (e.g. 6-9pm) per month
• We ask that initial scheduled visits involve candidate observing child parent play/interactions to get an idea of child's needs, and preferences etc.
• Once completed, there will be opportunity for a paid trial shift and gradual transition with a parent at home
• Hourly rate to be discussed based on experience, qualifications, and availability (flexible rate)

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced with providing care to infants or toddlers
• Warm, patient, reliable, organized, ability to multi-task
• Flexible with changes to baby routines/schedules, has the ability to think on their feet
• Is receptive to feedback from parent
• CPR/First Aid certified for babies/young children
• Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Able to provide childcare references and a Vulnerable Sector Check/ Police check
• Comfortable speaking English and supporting early language development
• Would be a great asset IF: in addition to child care, can provide minimal house-keeping including: tidying up spaces, cleaning kitchen after meals, help with meal prep or cooking, laundry (loading/unloading machine, folding), vacuuming, etc.
