We are a busy family in Milton, Ontario looking for an experienced, caring, and engaging Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or experienced nanny to care for our two children, ages 6 and 8. We are looking for someone who is dependable, energetic, and passionate about creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment where our children can learn, play, and thrive. Schedule 3 evenings per week Every other weekend Flexibility for occasional additional hours as needed Must be available for a 6-day period in October to provide care while the family is away on a trip Responsibilities Provide attentive, reliable, and nurturing care for two children (ages 6 and 8) Plan fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities to keep the children engaged Encourage creativity, outdoor play, reading, crafts, and learning opportunities Prepare healthy snacks and simple dinners Assist with the evening routine, including homework support (as needed), bedtime preparation, and bedtime Maintain a tidy and organized play and activity area Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment Qualifications Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma/certificate preferred, or equivalent childcare experience Experience caring for school-aged children CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Excellent references Comfortable commuting to and working in Milton, Ontario Our Ideal Candidate You are: Warm, kind, and patient Dependable and punctual Creative and proactive in planning activities Comfortable managing two children independently Confident preparing snacks, dinner, and handling the bedtime routine If you are passionate about working with children and enjoy creating engaging, meaningful experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
