As a Retail Security Guard, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe, secure, and positive shopping experience. From conducting patrols to providing excellent customer service, this role calls for alertness, adaptability, and a proactive approach throughout your shift.What's in it for you?
- Hourly wage rate of $25/hr
- We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy
- Part-time schedule: Saturday from 12pm until 8pm and Sunday from 11am until 7pm

Responsibilities for Retail Security Guard
- Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Check identification and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
Qualifications for Retail Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid BC security license
- Hold a valid AST certificate
- First aid certification - an asset
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
