Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Help with organizing and storing clean dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling.
- Willingness to assist cooks and other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere in the hospitality industry.
