Job Summary:Milestones Bar and Grill is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in every aspect in kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities:- Having a great command over the team and Calling the orders for the team, once it the orders are displaced on KDS.

- Responsible for plating the dish in spec even during Hi-Times.

- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu items with creativity and attention to detail- Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace- Train new kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures

- Responsible for all chores and tasks related to food storage and kitchen operations including cleaning kitchen equipment, cleaning flooring, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning bathroom, etc.

- Provide attention to detail when performing duties outside of functions of role.

- Ability to handle physical workload when completing tasks outside of role.

- Willingness to work in late nights and early mornings.

Skills:- Proven experience as a kitchen Supervisor or as a Lead cook

- Must have proven skills on Grill and Plating.- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques- Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively and provide guidance when needed- Proficiency in food handling procedures and knowledge of food safety regulations- Leadership qualities with excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
