Customer Service and Order Processing Agent

HomePlus is a leading retail and wholesale distributor of water treatment and and other home products (including air quality and water heating) based in Kamloops, B.C. We are looking for a new member to join our order processing team to process customer orders and shipping documents, and to provide general phone-based customer service support. This is a full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Strong computer and phone/email communications skills, and attention to detail are essential. An ability to learn and communicate technical details to customers about products that we offer is a strong asset. While existing experience with related products would be a huge asset, we are happy to provide product specific training.

Job application must include cover letter detailing relevant experience in order processing, customer service, sales, office administration, shipping, and other relevant skills. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Wage offered to the successful applicant will be commensurate with existing skills and experience.

Short-listed applicants will be asked to do 2 short aptitude tests (attention to detail and technical skills).

Job Duties:

• Answer incoming customer inquiries
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
• Enter customer orders
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
• Other duties as requested
• Prepare shipping documents
• Provide order status and tracking updates to customers
• Perform credit card validation/verification and process credit card payments
• Prepare order documentation for the warehouse team or shipping partners
• Reconcile credit card processing records to sales invoices/sales reports
