About the Role
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator specializing in video shorts to boost brand growth. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling through short-form video content. You will be responsible for producing engaging video shorts for platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, that capture our brand's essence and connect with our audience. You must own your professional equipment (camera, gimbal, lighting, etc.) to ensure high-quality content production.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production:
- Create and produce high-quality video shorts that align with our brand identity and marketing strategy.
- Utilize your own equipment (camera, gimbal, lighting, etc.) to capture dynamic and visually appealing content.
- Develop creative concepts and scripts for engaging video content tailored for social media platforms.
Editing & Post-Production:
- Edit video footage to produce polished, professional video shorts.
- Incorporate music, captions, effects, and transitions that enhance viewer engagement.
- Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut) and, AI tools for editing enhancements.
Social Media Strategy:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align content production with overall brand and campaign objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and platform algorithms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Schedule and post video content across relevant social media channels, monitoring performance and audience interaction.
Collaboration & Innovation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content consistency across all digital platforms.
- Experiment with new formats and creative approaches to continuously innovate and improve our video content.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track content performance using analytics tools and provide insights on viewer engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Adjust content strategies based on feedback and performance data to optimize future video productions.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven experience in creating short-form video content for social media platforms.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing your video shorts and creative content work.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video shooting and editing, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Experience using AI tools for video editing is a plus.
- Must own professional-grade equipment, including a camera, gimbal, and lighting setups.
Creative & Communication Skills:
- Strong creative vision with excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
