Senior Machinery Electrical Design Engineer

Custom machinery projects need a Senior Electrical Designer skilled in AutoCAD Electrical, safety systems, and inspection-ready designs at Samco Machinery Ltd.This engineering position creates electrical schematics, panel layouts, cable tray layouts, and conduit lists for custom machinery. You will size drives and control devices, apply electrical safety designs, and coordinate with inspectors. The work also includes risk assessments, PSR, and engineering documentation.Key Responsibilities:
Design power and control circuits using AutoCAD ElectricalPrepare panel, cable tray, and conduit documentationSelect and size VFDs, cables, fuses, and transformersDevelop safety control designs and support risk assessmentsCoordinate inspection requirements and electrical design changesRequirements:
Electrical engineering degree or technologist designationAt least three years’ appropriate electrical design experienceKnowledge of CEC and NEC electrical design codesExperience with safety devices, PSR, and safety risk assessmentsAutoCAD Electrical proficiency for schematics and layoutsApply electrical design, safety assessment, and documentation expertise to Samco Machinery Ltd.’s custom machinery engineering projects.
