Job Title : G / Class 5 Driver
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00am start, shifts range from 8-11 hours depending on the route.
Pay Rate: $21.27 per hour
This role will support deliveries throughout Kingston and nearby areas. This role is hands-on and customer-focused, involving daily route deliveries, safe vehicle operation, and representing the company in a professional manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver orders to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Load and unload products throughout the workday
- Complete daily visual vehicle inspections and report concerns
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and warehouse staff
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at each stop
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Valid full G Class driver's license
- Experience driving a 3-ton truck
- Familiarity with Kingston's east end through to Cornwall
- Clean driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days
- Minimum 25 years of age for insurance purposes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Previous delivery driving experience is required
Work Conditions
This role involves both driving and physical labour. Work may take place on highways, local roads, warehouse facilities, and customer delivery sites.
