North America Construction (1993) Ltd. – NAC Constructors Ltd. (NAC) is well known for our expertise in water and wastewater construction across Canada. Our self-performing team of almost 500 skilled professionals and experts in trades and engineering, comprehensively handles projects, from conceptualization to delivery. We also have extensive experience in fields such as civil, structural, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work. NAC is currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join our HR team at our Head Office location in Morriston, ON. 

Position Summary: 

The HR Business Partner plays a key role in supporting NAC’s people and operations by delivering comprehensive Human Resources services across the organization. Acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers, this role provides full-cycle recruitment, employee relations support, policy and collective agreement interpretation, learning and development initiatives, and day-to-day HR advisory support.

Position Duties:

Deliver full-cycle HR support including:

• Full-cycle recruitment (salaried focus)


• Onboarding & workforce planning


• Employee relations & workplace investigations


• Policy & collective agreement interpretation


• Compensation, benefits & HR advisory support


• Learning & development initiative


• Act as a trusted partner, providing practical solutions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years progressive HR experience


• Post-secondary education in HR or related field


• CHRP (or working toward) is an asset


• Experience working with a unionized workforce 


• Experience in construction or multi-site environments preferred


• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practices


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a solutions-focused approach
