Warehouse Team Member
People store is currently hiring for a Warehouse Team Member to join our client's team in Dartmouth! We are looking for employees that can start as soon as possible .
Pay
$18.15 per hour
Available Shifts
1. Warehouse Team Member – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Tuesday to Saturday
2. Warehouse Team Member – 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM
Monday to Friday
3. Warehouse Support – 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Tuesday to Saturday
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently
- Moving products using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
- Picking, receiving, storing, and loading products using RF equipment
- Counting products and comparing them against manifests
- Inspecting shipments for damage
- Storing merchandise in the appropriate locations
- Reworking orders to meet customer requirements
- Assisting with physical inventory counts
- Break down cardboard boxes
- Sort Styrofoam and plastic waste
- Move debris to designated outdoor waste containers
- No regular/food waste involved
- Cleaning and disposing of cardboard, strapping, bracing, and other warehouse materials
- Following instructions and completing other warehouse duties as required
✅ Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Some high school education; high school diploma is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle products
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
