Oracle Financial Management Consultant, Associate (Bilingual FR/EN)

As an Oracle consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Oracle applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Oracle applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials) Associate , you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

• Analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities in:
  • Record to report: close and consolidation; internal and external reporting, general ledger/chart of accounts design, financial performance management
  • Plan to analyze: budgeting and forecasting capabilities
  • Transactional processes: e.g. intercompany, procure to pay, order to cash, etc.; and maintenance and building of cost‑effective controls
• Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements.
• Identify and address client needs: actively participate in client discussions and meetings; manage engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics with unanticipated issues.
• Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, including:
  • System application implementations and software configurations
  • Prior experience in Oracle Cloud implementations, other ERP experience (desired)
  • Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast‑paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Utilize PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and communicate fluently with clients to capture needs and translate into system functionality.

Experience and skills you’ll use to solve

• Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in finance
• Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: finance transformation, performance management, financial systems optimization, managerial cost accounting, financial modelling and industry systems/processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
• Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
• When applying to a Quebec‑based opportunity, fluency in French is required; outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $58,400 – $97,500. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
