Expected Start Date: To be Determined Union: SUN Facility: West Winds Primary Health Centre City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Bridge City Clinic - Primary Care Sites Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Hours of Work: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: Yes Job : The Primary Health Nurse Practitioner RN(NP) is an advanced practice nurse with knowledge and skills gained through additional education and experience. The Nurse Practitioner blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with the legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions. The RN(NP) practices within a framework of evidence-based primary care, holism, health promotion, and disease and injury prevention. The practice involves building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities. This includes community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration; and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Three years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))
