Expected Start Date: TBD Union: SUN Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Case Management - MAID Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: Yes Job : The Nurse Practitioner will blend their in-depth knowledge with their understanding of the legislation to assess and support the full range of options for end of life care including Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and liaises with health professionals and agencies throughout the province to facilitate high quality care for the patient and family seeking this service. The position will require response to needs in all health facilities and dwellings within the neighboring rural areas. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum one year experience in community and palliative
- Minimum three (3) years experience in emergency and/or critical care.
Education
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license

- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
