Corporate Services Clerk
Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic full-service law firm based in downtown Vancouver additional offices located in West Vancouver & Calgary, Alberta. We offer a professional, collegial, and collaborative work environment, competitive salary, and rewarding opportunities. We are a looking for Corporate Services Clerk to join our Corporate Services Department in our Vancouver office. This position reports to the Corporate Services Supervisor.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Self-starter who can work independently and as a member of the team
- Able to multitask with great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Highly organized
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly billing for the Corporate Services department, including annual maintenance billing
- Prepare reports for annual maintenance and review returned annual reports
- Prepare and send reminders to clients
- Handle all incoming mail for the corporate records department
- Draft routine correspondence
- Perform conflict searches
- Conduct BC Online searches
- Filing annual maintenance
- Update ALF database
- Other tasks as required
- Assist with overflow work
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant program
- Experience working in a law firm or office environment an asset
- Interest in corporate law
- Previous corporate experience an asset
- Able to organize and prioritize workload
- Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe & ALF
- Ability to use critical thinking while problem-solving
- Comfortable using step stools/small ladders and lift 10 lbs.
- Team player
- Always presents a professional image and acts as a firm ambassador

Salary: $52,000 - 63,000 annually
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (35 hours week)
