This position is primarily responsible for basic maintenance, support, and labour at the plant facility.ResponsibilitiesPerform general labour throughout the plant.Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment.Assist Plant Manager with needed tasks and operations.Dump ice and other materials into concrete mixtures.General housekeeping and yard work.Operation of skidsteers and other small equipment.Participate in and adhere to all safety protocols, polices, and procedures.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsValid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.General construction experience.Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks physical in nature on a consistent basis.Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance repairs.CSTS Certification is preferred.WHIMIS training is preferred.Must be able to be clean shaven (mask fit is required for employment)Key AttributesReliable and dependable.Excellent verbal communication skills.Team player with the ability to follow directions.Safety conscious attitude.Hours Of WorkThis is a full time, permanent position.Shifts times vary based on production schedules, including early mornings, afternoons, and occasional night shifts.
