Forklift Operator (Counterbalance / Walkie / Double Reach)
Job Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a busy bakery facility in North York(Jane/ Steeles). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach forklifts in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.Must have license for all 3 forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and put-away tasks using RF scanners when required
- Transport raw materials and finished products between production and storage areas
- Stack, stage, and organize pallets accurately
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all health & safety and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Must have a Valid license and experience operating all mentioned forklifts(Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach)
- Minimum 2-3 years of forklift experience
- Experience working in a cold or refrigerated environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production/warehouse setting
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual #AES3#
