We are adding an afternoon (3 PM - 1 AM shift) to our busy Regina shop and we are looking to hire a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to our team.

Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
- Additional Afternoon Shift Premium: $3.50
Bonus Target: 4%
Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation sick and 7 days flex time

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment

• Condition reporting

• Verifying components due to CAT reusability guidelines

• Operation bench testing pieces

• Operation of engine dynos

• Interface with customers product and sales support

• Working with supervisors on various tasks

• Equipment and facility continuous improvements

• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

• Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment Truck and Transport Agriculture Automotive)

• Apprentices will be considered based on experience

• Dedication to safety

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal

• Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset

• Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset

• Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset

• Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

• Experience with SIS (Service Information System) ET and warranty systems considered assets

Important Details:

• This position is based in our Regina shop on a 4x3 compressed AFTERNOON (3 PM - 1 AM) shift

• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
