Function 1 (incl. Expected results)

Leads and manages work programmes related to ICAO global regulatory framework to reduce the adverse environmental impact of aviation greenhouse gas emissions on the global climate, achieving results such as:

Take the lead in integrated, comprehensive and timely analysis, planning, delivery, assessment and reporting of climate change related projects and activities.
Build and stimulate partnerships and cooperation with other international organizations, regional organizations and industry that result in combined efforts to address global climate change issues.
Represent ICAO at UN and other UN agencies’ meetings, if required, enhancing recognition of ICAO leadership in climate change discussion.
