Robots and Pencils seeks a Lead AI Builder to design and deliver AI/ML systems remotely. Utilize your engineering expertise to craft seamless, production-ready AI solutions. In this pivotal role, you will guide technical leadership and architectural design for cross-functional teams. With a focus on developing agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and optimizing integration with AWS, you will ensure systems are built for reliability and efficiency. Collaborating with product and design teams, your work will enable measurable impact in AI systems tailored for real-world applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and construct agentic workflows and RAG pipelines
- Integrate with AWS Bedrock and Agent Core for tool design
- Write production system prompts accurately
- Ensure observability and evaluation for agent performance
- Collaborate with teams for feature shipping and debugging
- 6+ years in professional software engineering
- Expertise in agentic AI and RAG strategies
- Strong skills in prompt engineering and AWS GenAI stack
- Experience in production reliability patterns
- Proficient in Python and Node.js development
