Your future role on our teamAs the leader of our Mont-Saint-Hilaire office’s Civil and Structural Engineering department, you’ll ensure all the team’s operational needs are met. You’ll be responsible for departmental talent development, performance, technical excellence and sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with project teams in various disciplines and BBA leadership to help your team use resources optimally and achieve the office’s goals.

Technical excellence – Civil and structural engineering for hydropowerProvide technical leadership to the Civil and Structural Engineering department in complex hydroelectric infrastructure projectsSupport teams on projects involving major hydroelectric structures, including dams, dikes, spillways, intakes, headrace and tailrace canals, penstocks, tunnels, galleries, power plant buildings, equipment foundations, retaining walls, access structures, and other related structuresPromote knowledge sharing and technical coachingBe a reference point for clients and internal teams to showcase the department’s expertise on high value-added mandates

Summary Of Certifications And Job RequirementsOver 10 years of relevant engineering experienceRecognized technical expertise in energy sector civil/structural engineering, with proven experience in hydroelectric and industrial infrastructureSignificant experience with structures such as dams, dikes, spillways, intakes, canals, penstocks, tunnels, galleries, power plant buildings, equipment foundations, concrete and steel structures, retaining structures, and other related infrastructureProven experience managing teams, developing talent and mentoring technical leadersBusiness development and client relations experienceAbility to exercise leadership and influence people who are not direct reports in a matrix‑based context
