Senior IBM Cognos Developer – Cognos Analytics & Reporting
We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos Developer with strong expertise in Cognos Analytics, Report Studio, SQL, and data modeling to develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and frameworks using Report Studio/Cognos Analytics.
- Design and maintain data models, packages, and metadata layers for business reporting.
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance .
- Integrate Cognos with enterprise data platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure data services .
- Support production issues, enhancements, and release deployments.
- Participate in UAT, report validation, testing, and technical documentation .
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI .
- Expertise in Cognos Report Studio .
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data modeling, metadata, and packages .
- Understanding of ETL concepts and enterprise data platforms .
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or Azure data services .
- Strong troubleshooting, reporting validation, and stakeholder communication skills.
