Position: English Teacher: Work both in person and Online

Teaching Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (depending on experience and performance)

Role and Responsibilities:

As an English Teacher in class, you will:

• Organize classroom lectures and coursework.
• Prepare materials and activities.
• Assign homework and interesting exercises.
• Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans.
• Determine exam and assignment grades.
• Provide feedback to parents based on workload and classroom behavior.

As an Online English Teacher, you will:

• Utilize the provided curriculum to plan engaging and interactive lessons.
• Document each class's progress and maintain individual student records.
• Write personalized comments for each student to provide constructive feedback.
• Assess and mark homework assignments promptly.
• Prepare thoroughly for upcoming lessons, ensuring a well-structured learning experience.
• Develop course content when necessary to meet the unique needs of your students.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience teaching English to non-English speakers, preferably in an online setting.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style.
• Ability to use a tablet (e.g., iPad, Samsung tablet) for teaching (preferred but not required).
• Creative approach to curriculum delivery and lesson planning.
• Strong organizational skills to manage student progress and assignments.
• Background check and relevant certifications may be required.

Teaching Topics:

Our teaching topics encompass a range of areas, including:

• Phonics
• Book reading classes
• Writing classes
• Teaching math to early-grade students in an English-speaking environment
