Job Description
FLINT is seeking a Plant Operator with Sulphur forming facility experience for a 3 month contract in Didsbury, AB starting as soon as possible. In this position, you will enjoy a schedule with 12 hour work days and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates ; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Plant Operator in Sulphur forming facilities.
- Minimum 4th class power engineering certificate is required
- Possess extensive knowledge of all facets of gas plant operations.
- Ability to monitor and maintain various plant equipment, record testing outcomes, report equipment issues, and oversee production process while improving the plant facility’s efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- CSTS-2020
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS
- ABSA
- ASME
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.
Additional Information
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
