Lead Canadian regulatory reporting at Morgan Stanley in Toronto through advanced finance expertise, CIRO filings, and a hybrid work environment.This Director-level Controller role supports Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting. You will lead regulatory reporting for Canadian member firm entities, strengthen controls, and support regulatory change. The work spans IFRS, regulatory capital, reconciliations, audits, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Lead accurate, complete, and timely CIRO regulatory filingsSupport regulatory and statutory audits with evidence preparationImplement regulatory, accounting, and business reporting requirementsResolve reporting and control issues with cross-functional stakeholdersImprove governance, documentation, data quality, and automationRequirements:
CPA Canada or equivalent designationKnowledge of IFRS accounting rulesExperience with Canadian regulatory capital filingsUnderstanding of reporting controls, reconciliations, and auditabilityAt least six years of relevant experience generally expectedApply finance, regulatory capital, and controls expertise to support Morgan Stanley’s Canadian entity reporting framework in Toronto.
