Senior Regulatory Policy Manager

Lead regulatory policy development at FSRA, applying policy analysis and stakeholder consultation to support Ontario financial services oversight.This Senior Manager oversees policy work for an assigned sector, including life and health insurance, mortgage brokers, or financial planners and advisors. The position manages research, regulatory guidance, rules, consultations, and policy initiatives supporting FSRA’s strategies and mandate.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee FSRA policy agenda and risk-focused regulatory frameworkManage research, environmental scans, analysis, and issue assessmentLead consultations on legislation, regulations, and policiesProvide evidence-based policy advice and recommendationsManage unit staff, performance, training, and employee relationsRequirements:
Postsecondary degree in finance, law, economics, public policy, or related fieldSix to eight years managing financial services policy developmentExperience interpreting legislation and regulationsExpertise leading stakeholder consultations and partnershipsStrong communication, leadership, judgment, and project management skillsBring regulatory policy leadership, stakeholder expertise, and analytical judgment to FSRA’s financial services mandate in Ontario.
