Accounting Manager for HUB International

HUB International invites applications for an Accounting Manager to oversee Canadian operations in a hybrid role. This position emphasizes compliance with GAAP and strategic financial management. As an Accounting Manager, you will coordinate accounting teams across Canada while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and external regulations. This hybrid position, based in either Woodbridge or Oakville, requires collaboration with management, auditors, and the executive suite. Your experience in project management and financial oversight will be crucial as you implement SOX controls and address compliance in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting teams for optimal performance
- Oversee month-end deliverables for local and corporate teams
- Ensure compliance with internal and SOX controls
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for decision making
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation preferred
- 5+ years in accounting or finance roles
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and manage priorities effectively
