Corporate Legal Counsel for Global Team
Syntax
Join a global legal team as a Corporate Legal Counsel with over 2 years of experience in Canada. Support customer contracts, partnership agreements, and in-house product negotiations. This role entails collaborating closely with the Global Head of Legal and engaging with commercial lawyers worldwide. You will adeptly review and negotiate Master Services Agreements while supporting partnerships with major clients like AWS, Microsoft, and CrowdStrike. Additionally, you will develop contract templates for in-house products and ensure legal protections in agreements. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work
- Draft and negotiate recent partnership and referral agreements
- Lead negotiations with customer’s legal and sales teams
- Maintain and update contract templates for in-house products
- Provide general legal support across various business units
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience
- Called to the bar in Canada
- Strong negotiation skills with commercial contracts
- Familiarity with data privacy agreements
- Experience managing legal risks in partnerships
