Dure Construction Estimator Role

Elevate your career as a Construction Estimator with Dure in a permanent, flexible position. Manage projects, evaluate contracts, and coordinate subcontractors while ensuring quality control. The Construction Estimator will oversee daily operations and a team of 5-10. You'll read blueprints, prepare contracts, and implement quality policies while utilizing your expertise in construction methods. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential in this hands-on role that requires outdoor and interior workspace management. Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings effectively
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients
- Establish quality control policies and procedures
- Manage daily site operations and subcontractor activities
- Supervise personnel from 5 to 10 team members
- First Aid Certificate required
- WHMIS Certificate is a must
- Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Word
- Understand commercial, residential, and industrial construction
- Valid driver's license needed
