HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Newmarket who needs to hire a Human Resources Generalist onsite. To attract the best talent, my client is offering a competitive pay rate, a good benefits program and a place where you can grow your career.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in HR or equivalent; CHRP an asset.
- At least 5 years of work experience in HR with a manufacturing company
- Knowledge of ESA, OHSA, AODA legislation.
- Proficiency in Workday and Dayforce or similar
- Payroll experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, fostering positive employee relations and advising on policies and procedures.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and support onboarding, orientation programs, and employee lifecycle activities (including exit interviews).
- Support performance management processes, workplace investigations, and resolution of employee concerns.
- Maintain and administer HR systems and records (e.g., HRIS, payroll, time and attendance), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Assist with HR programs and initiatives, including policy development, leave management, employee events, and coordination with temporary staffing agencies.
