We are currently seeking a dynamic and meticulous Order Picker to join the team of our client, a leader in the distribution of respiratory equipment for sleep apnea and hospitals.
In this temporary role with a strong possibility of permanency after 3 months (TTP), you will play a crucial role in the supply chain by ensuring inventory accuracy and the smooth shipping of essential medical products. Advantages• Competitive and advantageous starting wage of $22.00 per hour.
• Stable and fixed day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Strong possibility of permanent hire after an initial 3-month period (Temp-to-Perm).
• Full, employer-paid certified training on a Raymond stand-up forklift upon transitioning to permanent status.
• Clean, safe work environment focused on employee well-being. Responsibilities
• Pick and prepare orders for respiratory equipment using an RF scanner.
• Safely handle boxes and medical equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Pack, label, and secure pallets of goods for shipping in the Shipping department.
• Actively collaborate in English with the shipping team and carriers to verify the accuracy of order slips.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse workspace.
• Participate in cycle counts (rotating inventory) and report any discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (essential for shipping and client interactions).
• Proven proficiency in using barcode readers (RF scanners).
• Good physical stamina for the repetitive handling of loads up to 45 lbs.
• Team player with a strong sense of rigor, thoroughness, and a high attention to detail (medical sector).
• Ability to maintain a steady work pace while strictly adhering to occupational health and safety standards. Summary
