Medical Ethics Teaching Assistant
McGill University
Medical ethics and health law discussions need a Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills, working primarily on campus at McGill University.
This Teaching Assistant supports INDS 302, Medical Ethics and Health Law, within McGill’s Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy. The position facilitates medical student discussions, grades assignments, develops examination questions, and supports course administration. It also involves communication with students, faculty lecturers, administrators, and the course director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate small-group discussions with medical students
- Recruit and correspond with student facilitators
- Grade assignments and provide student feedback
- Select case studies and develop case analyses
- Attend lectures and introduce guest lecturers
Requirements:
- Registered McGill graduate student status
- Academic background in a relevant discipline
- Coursework or knowledge in medical ethics or health law
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong organization and time-management abilities
Support medical ethics education through discussion facilitation, grading, case analysis, and clear course communication at McGill University.
