Job Description
- Perform site surveys, verify existing infrastructure, and identify potential challenges for new construction.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for Aviation OSP construction projects using BIM/CAD software. This involves selecting appropriate materials, routing cables, and designing pathways for the network infrastructure.
- Coordinate with other engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the OSP network with other Aviation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 15+ years experience in major infrastructure and transportation projects.
- A strong understanding of telecommunications principles, including fiber optic and copper cable systems, conduit systems, and relevant construction methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
- BICSI certifications (like Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Outside Plant Designer (OSP)).
- Airfield OSP design experience.
- BISCI OSP Certification.
