Presently, Leon's is looking for talented applicants for the position of Receiving Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that product is properly received into the warehouse, damage free and within set time schedules
- Oversee all shipping and receiving functions to ensure a smooth, efficient warehouse operation
- Develop associates through coaching, goal-setting and conducting performance reviews
- Coordinate the maintenance of equipment; ensure associates perform pre-shift equipment checks
- Ensure that Health and Safety, material handling and security policies and procedures are adhered to by all associates
- Review recent count sheets system and logs; investigate and resolve receiving or inventory discrepancies
- Unload and put away merchandise
- Ensure Lockup is kept secure at all times
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment such as lift trucks
- Assist with loading/unloading of delivery trucks
- Manage storage and disposal of packing materials; recycling as appropriate
- Support the training and development of warehouse associates
- Ensure merchandise is moved with care to prevent damage
