Senior Director, Finance and Process Transformation at SFU

Drive financial leadership and process transformation at Simon Fraser University as the Senior Director. Collaborate with the Vice-President Finance & Administration to enhance operational effectiveness and support strategic initiatives. This leadership position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related area, along with a CPA and at least seven years of relevant experience in university operations or similar environments. Your role will focus on resolving complex operational issues, ensuring procedure alignment, and fostering continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for financial operations
- Facilitate process improvements across the university
- Coordinate with senior leadership for project execution
- Identify and enhance service efficiency opportunities
- Maintain compliance with institutional policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree required; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum seven years in financial and operational management
- In-depth knowledge of university processes and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
