Join our Display Processing Unit (DPU) Silicon System Debug team to solve complex, high‑impact display issues across leading Qualcomm platforms—working at the intersection of silicon, systems, and software to deliver reliable customer products.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to identify and isolate display issues at the silicon level reported by customers or internal development teams.
• Apply industry‑standard hardware/software debugging engineering practices, including in‑silicon hardware tracing, software logging, signal capture using oscilloscope and protocol analyzer, and logic analyzer.
• Develop silicon debug procedures and processes; create debug data collection tools, parsing tools, and analyzer tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (display hardware/software, SOC infrastructure, system performance/power) to resolve complex system‑level issues that may cause display malfunction.
• Define and document internal and customer‑facing procedures for display system debugging.
• Write technical documentation and provide technical expertise to design, verification, and customer engineering teams to ensure quality, stability, and robustness of Qualcomm display solutions.
• Mentor junior design engineers.
• Provide guidance and training to Qualcomm global customer engineering teams on all display‑related topics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to triage and debug complex technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and stakeholder alignment.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for tool development, automation, and data analysis.
• 5+ years of SOC system‑level debugging experience (display subsystem experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with display interface standards such as DisplayPort, DSC, MIPI, HDMI.
• Comfortable presenting both technical and business information to senior management.
• Ability to drive independent activities/projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent engagements.
• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with foundational knowledge in SOC design and verification methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience.
• or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience.
• or PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience.
